Prince had not one but TWO clothing stores!?!? According to Craig Laurence Rice and the Prince Podcast, Prince had two clothing stores in the 90s. One on Melrose in L.A. and one in Minneapolis. Has anyone ever heard of this before? I did a Google custom search but found no info. How awesome would it have been to go and buy some assless chaps or a purple trench coat?

He had NPG stores, one in London and one in Minneapolis. Don’t know about anything else. My art book: http://www.lulu.com/spotl...ecomicskid

He also did a clothing range with the company Joe Blogs. I have the Sexy MF Tshirt somewhere, but there was a ton of other stuff.

I remember a while back on a Glam Slam promotion video, they showed club wear you could purchase from their store. I could not image wearing any of that except in a Prince video. No More Haters on the Internet.

There was a short-lived NPG store in Uptown (Mpls) in the early 90's. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

The store in Camden was great. I often wonder what happened to the time capsule they buried underneath it and what it contained at that time?

We should start a movement. Free the time capsule! My password is what

There was talk around the Diamonds And Pearl era of him having a clothing line that would be sold at JC Penney. I remember personally reading it in an article, but don't know which one - part of me wants to say it was USA Today.
