Purple Music : new Prince-focused music column in Minneapolis newspaper http://spokesman-recorder...or/tkiene/ There is a new Prince-centered music column in Minneapolis urban newspaper, The Spokesman-Recorder (which has been around about ninety years). Four installments published (online) so far and you would probably have to be local or subscribe, to pick up the actual paper. A new installment is up every 10-12 days or so, and it looks to be off to a good start, so is worth a look and the support. == “Purple Music: Musings on the Minneapolis Sound,” a new column by writer Tony Kiene. With this column, Kiene will highlight the lasting legacy of the late Prince, and by extension, the many artists who have played a pivotal role in shaping what’s commonly known as “the Minneapolis Sound.” | |
