Uhm, I think there are more men that wear clothes that were originally designed for women. Gender appropriate? I think clothes are designed for people and it doesn't matter if a man wears "women's clothes" or a woman "men's clothes." I actually like it when people have a gender bending style. It makes them more intersting than all this "normal" people who look all the same.
no....there is clearly a line of demarcation when it comes to gender and clothing... thats why there are "MENS" departments and "WOMENS" departments, with accompanying ads, models and photos showing you which belongs to which...regardless of the current cultural agendas that are in effect, the majority of people on earth still adhere to these time tested traditions ...

Gender separation in fashion is not about "tested traditions". It's for selling twice as much cloth.

This is really an apples and oranges debate.
Prince had his wardrobe custom made for him. As someone wrote above, they're almost costumes instead of actual clothing.
Lenny looks more like a normal person. Granted, his rock star jeans or leather pants might cost thousands of dollars, but they don't look like Prince's stuff did. |

Prince wore almost only custom made stuff. He had a whole department in PP just for it! 'Nuff said. Lenny, he just shops. Probably in expensive stores, but what he wears is not as unique as Prince's clothes.
In all fairness, Lenny can't play the androgyny card like Prince could. That's simply not his morphology, he would look like a drag (a failed one). The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter

The clothes reflect who they are as artist. Prince created his own unique style. Kravitz borrows his style from others. The wooh is on the one! |

All beautiful!!!
Don't know why someone regularly drags out that tired old Mens Dept/Womens Dept shitck as proof of anything sartorial. It's ridiculous.

to each their own...if you think its cool or fashionable or stylish for men to wear womens clothing, and then post pictures of people in ceremonial garb to try to prove it, thats your choice... but i will always believe men should wear mens clothing... it has always worked well for me, and the other men in my family, so i will continue to do the right thing... |

Men wear open clothing (aka robes, dresses) every day unceremoniously. But continue to carry that I have a problem flag honey. It's your right to wear whateva you want.
