Id personally go with lenny also his look is more accessible to the man on the street very few people could get away with wearing what prince did or would want to.

^^Hey, I'd take Prince's assless pants over everything Lenny's wearing and wear them while walking down the streets.

They both have their off and on days. P's assymetrical suits were cool. I have to say though that Lenny's clothes were more like clothes. P's clothes were more like costumes and theatrical statements. HIs casual clothes were not the kind of clothes most men would wear. Women would look cool in his casual clothes. He pulled it off though. in the early 90's, Kravitz wins by a landslide. P's look was not cool in my eyes.

Is this even a real question? Prince had better fashion sense. Nobody can ever beat Prince in anything.

Gender appropriate? I understand what you mean, but what has gender appropriate to do with style?

Not sure, but I'm pretty positive they're implying that Prince didn't dress like a man? If so, that's ridiculous. I wear band tees and jeans, do I not dress like a woman, then?

Now come on, do you not remember girls wearing those ruffled shirts, Prince created that style. It was the in thing.

Prince was the sexiest man ever with his heels and his makeup. Girls lusted after him.

Prince had a style all his own, nobody can ever top it.

Prince was known as fashion icon, don't believe me then ask Versace. I seen some of P's outfits & really like them, I've never really thought about Lenny. Lenny looks like a rock star & Prince looked fashionable (when he was dressed, lol)

Oh don't ask me to choose- that's like saying you must only choose one vehicle, and your choices are a Stingray Corvette and a Astin-Martin convertable!! I'm bowing out of this discussion. Both great, timeless, and it depends on your mood that particular moment!!!

no....there is clearly a line of demarcation when it comes to gender and clothing...thats why there are "MENS" departments and "WOMENS" departments, with accompanying ads, models and photos showing you which belongs to which...regardless of the current cultural agendas that are in effect, the majority of people on earth still adhere to these time tested traditions ...

I'm sorry, but that's just stupid. I get my tshirts most often in the men's dept. BTW, traditions change. This isnt the 1950's. Women don't wear dresses and heals everyday anymore, just like men don't wear full suits and polo shirts everyday anymore. Fashion changes.

prince had both great fashion and awful fashion ... often in the same week .. at least he put on something the world wouldn't dare .. points for that .. but Lenny one upped prince assless pants when he performed in those crotchless pants .. prince never topped that .. Lenny wins for bravery!

we're talking about MEN wearing WOMENS clothes...traditions may change ...but right and wrong doesnt change...it is NOT right or cool or stylish for men to wear womens clothes...

It was very stylish for Prince.

Lenny is cool. Prince was a freezer burn compared to cool.

Prince did not have "fashion sense." Prince was Prince.
