This was a really nice article, very humanizing. Makes me sad, though.

Great article. I've always loved the idea of urban farming. Fresh food always tastes best!

Twenty-five years ago, I was on my way to a film premiere when the phone rang. It was June 1993 and my boss — Prince — was on the line. "Tomorrow’s my birthday. I’m changing my name," he told me.

I had been working as Prince’s publicist for a year at this point, so I took it in stride. "OK," I said, "What are you changing it to?" He told me that he was changing it to the symbol on his last album. I asked him, how do I spell it? "There is no spelling." I took a deep breath and asked the next logical question: "How do I pronounce it?" I’ll never forget his reply: "There is no pronunciation."

After Prince hung up, I called the guy I was going to the premiere with and told him I had to cancel because, "I’m going to have a really difficult day tomorrow."

.

lol lol lol This is priceless lol lol lol I wish she'd have said more about what happened tomorrow (the next day), and how that whole name change was announced and put into place, and people's reactions etc.

I am sure we are going to hear more about Prince's different sides as years go by. lol

But I would love to hear more about his fashion side and more from his makeup artist and costume designer. His fashion skills and talent are underrated.
