It is too hard to do a top 10. There are 20 GREAT Prince albums. I think the albums within each tier are indistinguishable.

An almost impossible task as my favourites change depending on my mood. I go through phases but I guess the ones I would save if house was on fire and could only save ten are (cannot order them)... My list…Some of the positions are interchangeable, but Number 1 is rock solid.
1) Sign ‘O’ The Times (Masterpiece, but I wish he included Shockadelica for Beautiful Night or Hot Thing) 2) Purple Rain – You can’t argue with PR. 9 brilliant songs, and the quality of the B-sides was amazing (Erotic, 17, Lonely Xmas etc) 3) Around The World In A Day 4) 1999 5) Parade 6) For You 7) Dirty Mind 8) Prince 9) Controversy 10) Lovesexy
