'Mama' is actually titled 'Why The Butterflies' Like the majority of you I have a copy of Cold Coffee and Cocaine that runs into a song that for obvcious reasons we thought is titled Mama, though you do hear the part about why the butterflies. To me he's just comping, making up the lyrics as he goes, but I've always like it even though there aren't any changes and it's repetitive...

I totally overlooked it when I read Duane's book, but according to Princevault this title was already revealed there. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/

OK I've just checked and it's not in Duane's book at all, there is no mention of this session that I can find there, though Princevault lists it as a reference, and I've realized looking at the history that they've just changed the title of the track today. So IDK, it's odd. A COMPREHENSIVE PRINCE DISCOGRAPHY (work in progress ^^): https://sites.google.com/...scography/
