That's not the purple house. The purple house was on Kiowa Trail. The house you are showing was used for exterior shots in Purple Rain. I think Prince owned it after that for a while. Unless I'm thinking of something else. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking. |

Prince bought it not long before he passed. It was in pretty rough shape. I see they removed the old ramp walkway and built a new porch. Maybe a coat of paint, too. I'm happy to see they're keeping it up, it really is a piece of history. And the MUSIC continues...forever... | |
