If you haven't seen the concert in Portugal on July 18, 2010 where she joined him for an extended set, I highly recommend you find it. From top to bottom, it's one of the best Prince concerts I've ever seen. The energy is off the charts. He plays licks I've never heard him play before. His guitar work is simply perfect. Oh it was alread a while in the PrinceVault. That's where i discovered it.

Look more often to the new files additions and you'll find out.

That's also where I find out that Prince's played uncredited guitar on a Herbie Hancock song, sang by Tina Turner.

What was already in Princevault? They had the PurpleFireMix of Dream of Fire listed, with Prince assumed to be responsible for any additional musical elements in that remix. It was only after Moura said he co-wrote the song (in the concert discussed in the article Latin brought to our attention) that the Princevault entry was updated to include that he was the lyricist for the song. That didn't happen until after the discussion here on the .org was already underway (I know this for a fact, bacause I checked Princevault to see if they'd changed it before I made my first post on this thread).

On what are you basing the idea that he's on Macy's album? Did Macy or Quest make some sort of reference to him playing on it?

Oh--and I just went and listened to Herbie Hancock's version of Edith and the Kingpin to hear what Prince did on it. I was hoping for a solo (even a little bit of one), but while it's a fun little part he's playing (I assume what I picked out was his guitar and not the other guitarist who is credited on the track), it definitely stays in the background even as he gets going toward the end. I wonder if Prince was in the studio with the other players, or if he just put something in after the track was basically set.
