this country is violent, that's just in the country's dna, don't divert to terminator and point fingers everywhere else, i'm not talking about everyone else. It just so happens i care about black people and i don't like seeing stupid kids get themselves killed trying to be like tupac or whoever the latest rapper might be. When you've known a couple aspiring losers who've ended up in prison or dead we can talk, until then i really don't want to hear it.

Did rap stop in 1997 for you guys? None of the new kids are rapping about getting shot, its all rapping about their feelings of anxiety and how someone was passive aggressive to them on social media.
People today don't have to listen to performers talking about that. They can play Grand Theft Auto & Call Of Duty and do it themselves. I read an article about a month ago that said GTA 5 has made more money than any movie or other entertainment in history. The article said GTA 5 sold around 90 million copies (which is more than Michael Jackson's Thriller) and made $6 billion. Video games are more popular than music now and a game disc generally costs more than an album, even the vinyl version. Also look at the popularity of superhero movies & TV shows now and they have video games, toys, Funko Pops, t-shirts, and all kinds of things. But I've heard that actual sales of comic books are not that great. Action or violent movies have always been popular with the general public, going all the way back to Gene Autry westerns, film noir, & Sinbad the sailor/Tarzan/Godzilla/King Kong/Zorro/3 Stooges and so on. TV has been full of cop shows for decades now. So I didn't get why people put down gangsta rap, when it was just the latest thing in a long line of other things at the time. Why is it considered different as audio in comparison to a Chuck Norris movie where he blows up stuff or Al Pacino's Scarface?

Pete is right, MickyDolenz. Your slick is not working here. Lot of words.
"if you can't clap on the one, then don't clap at all"
white and asian kids are using it, i've seen them,
So what? I have heard them and Latinos call themselves that too. If black people don't want them to say it, then they shouldn't use it either. "Do as I say and not as I do" doesn't work.

You can take a black guy to Nashville from right out of the cotton fields with bib overalls, and they will call him R&B. You can take a white guy in a pin-stripe suit who’s never seen a cotton field, and they will call him country. ~ O. B. McClinton

If you don't like what I got to say, then skip it. No one is forcing you to read what I post. Problem solved

Yeah, Ludacris was roasting him. MTV posted that on tumblr. The other gifs had Ludacris saying Baby got a billion views because of him (Luda), but got millions of dislikes because of Justin

R U a computer earning clicks?
"if you can't clap on the one, then don't clap at all"
But you voluntarily continue to read them though when you don't have to. When I see certain folks names or thread topics I'm not interested in I don't bother to read it. That way I won't see things I don't want to read like a lot of profanity because I know that person uses it.

Wow just Wow. This WAS a sweet Boney M thread. You are way off-topic and your opinions suck.

How about I read and comment on what I see fit? You are way off-topic, dropping names and videos like The Beavs, nobody cares, this is Prince.org. Industry hack or wannabe collecting clicks with some entitled bs.

I only clicked on this thread because I thought you misspelled "Tony" in yoru title.
And now your ear drums are forever stained with the glop of cheap german disco tricks. This shit doesn't come off.
The org can be fatal in ways more than one.
