came across the 2012 interview where he answered 12 out of 40 questions per e-mail ... here are some:

How do you approach those classic super-high notes these days?
By hitting higher ones

As a band leader, what do you expect from the musicians you work with?
1. Foot washing 2. Locks of hair 3. Per diem.

You have said in interviews that you impose a basketball team type discipline on your band. What does that mean?
That they play 2 win. Otherwise they'll b back-up dancing 4 Robin Thicke.

What do you think of 360 deals?
They r great... 4 me 2 poop on. :/

What do you think about the album in this iTunes culture (and the ability to buy single songs)?
It's cool cuz we usually buy books by the chapter. When we rented Avatar, we watched 5 scenes every weekend til it was finished.
lol

and then there's the video of an interview he gave in holland in 1999 ... the whole thing is hilarious cuz there're two youngsters interviewing him ... asking all those silly and ignorant questions he usually didn't even bother to answer but quote with some side eyes instead ... well he answered all of them and kept it pretty nice while educating the hell out of them lol ... could watch that over and over again and would give a fortune for getting 1 quick look behind his dark shades biggrin cool ...

but the best moment of these 22 minutes is when he interrupts one of the 2 (the one who's asking 9 out of 10 silly questions) who's wearing a huge holiday inn print on his shirt) just to ask him:
"did u steel that shirt?" falloff only prince

the only love there is is the love we make heart

If those are really his responses, then we know he liked Conan O'Brien..Isn't that a reference to Triumph the Insult Dog?

Prince's ulter-ego. Kind of reminds me of Jamie Starr.
