It's a perfectly reasonable question. Unfortunately though, it's against a rule that many threads have been closed for breaking and since this is such a useful thread I'd hate to see it get locked.

So the Daly City soundcheck has just leaked. It sounds really great! And the Uniondale soundcheck has been leaked as well! It means that the majority of one of Eye's upcoming releases is already out there with only missing one rehearsal.

I sincerely hope so. I know Prince's shows were legendary and some day I'll wade into the ocean of live bootlegs out there, but I'm too fascinated by his studio work to care about anything else right now give us some more pristine 80's and 90's tracks!

Now if the Estate would give the Org a break instead of harrassing fansites and alienating the fanbase like Prince used to, maybe we could all chill out?

^ Not questioning the rules or the rules being enforced, don't get me wrong. I know they are a necessity. But what I'm questioning is the Estate making them a necessity. I realize they have to protect their intellectual property but bootlegs exist, and people find them anyway, one way or another, sooner or later, so why give us shit like that. The Estate should just let us be with our boots and beat the bootleggers by releasing all the stuff in pristine quality.

I would go for a boot that simply consists of stuff already leaked in higher quality. There could also be a boot of the PR deluxe tracks in better quality/alt versions.

I believe at least the following exist:

Our Destiny/Roadhouse Garden proper mix

Computer Blue Hallway Speech in better quality

'86 version or demo/rehearsal version of Katrina's Paper Dolls

Finished and/or solo versions of Father's Song

Dance Electric w/ Wendy & Lisa and no skipping

I like this version also... I also dig the lengthy version of 17 Days from this w/ his off-key (on purpose I hope ) vocals toward the end n "17 DAYS!!" .

It's still missing whatever was between the end of Anotherloverholenyohead and the start of 17 Days. It might simply not be part of the soundboard (flipping a cassette over?), but it definitely is not part of the leak.
