There seems to be a little micro jump in 'Coco Boys' at around 4:45. I can't hear that little jump on the BFTP version.
That’s weird because it’s not on my version.

Weird indeed, when I listen to it in VLC Player on my laptop the skip is there, I tried it in Windows Groove and the jump isn't there. Then I tried the same file on another PC in VLC player and groove and both don't have the jump.
Edit: found the problem, the jump is only in the 32-bit version of VLC Player, I uninstalled it and installed 64-bit version and everything is cool!

I don't know what speakers you are listening to this on but this is pretty blatantly not true? All of these tracks are clear upgrades from the C2G versions...
i'm not so sure either. it's hard to tell if they are better quality of just tweekd by someone.
it would be very cool if the ones sharing these tracks, if they are indeed better sources, be willing to say they are just that.
or if indeed someone gets a single outtake in way better quality ('Go') and then packages it with some of their own updates, that's cool too, but it would be nice to know for sure.
my money is still on Databank. i'll just wait patiently until he's done his comparisons
Thanks, I'll do my best as soon as possible. However I'm not the best audiophile out here. I don't have a state of the art hi-fi, I listen to mp3@320 not Flac, and sound quality is a matter of preference to some extent (for example, I consider the Wonderful Ass on PR Deluxe vastly superior in sound quality to the one on Box Of Chocolate, but many people here disagree). So if there's an obvious difference I'll catch it, but if it's subtle or debatable, I might not while other orgers may [Edited 6/1/18 12:44pm] |

i listen to mostly 320 mp3s as well. i simply trust your judgement, in not being hysterical or deluded where it comes to 'new' leaks. plus, i can't make up my own mind. i keep going back and forth between tracks 20 times and still can't really say which is better. but i've come to a point where i just don't want to keep 10 different 'quality' versions of a single track.

Yes, it's a newly circulating Paris soundboard of Beautiful Night. We can finally hear it in excellent quality before the overdubs for the album.

Yes, The 1986 live recording from Paris, which was used on the Sign Of The Times album. Of courses this has none of the overdubs used on the album. He does call out Paris once or twice though out the song This leak slipped under the org radar (no thread on it) though most of us know about it Cant believe my purple psychedelic pimp slap

OMG, I've been travelling overseas for almost a month now, haven't been keeping up with things, and now I find out there were more leaks! I hope I can somehow find time ( (not to mention bandwidth!) to track this stuff down. "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. So a new collection of multiple songs have re-surfaced but again from a new source than their previous versions. They're circulating in FLAC. However I think all of their timings are off (faster) except for Coco Boys and Cross The Line.

Eye No #1 / #2
Glam Slam (Demo)
Anna Stesia (Demo) [Upsampled]
Escape (Demo)

Probably because it's been on a pressed boot cd callled "American in Paris" since 1992.

There was a single disc of the Le Zenith board. It wasn't the full show but it did have "Beautiful Night". It might be a different title, if memory serves it was an Italian pressed disc. |

It is awful that we get noise reduction and bad eq on flac files then we get mp3 that are untweaked except for the mp3 compression. The elites and eye are both to blame. WB really fucked up the eq as well. Makes it hard to find the best version when the sources degrade the file intentionally like that.
mp3 clearly sounds worse than flac in every instance with the same exact source track ... yet everyone stroking their own dick tweaking degrading the sourcefile can result in the mp3 actally sounding better than the flac ...
In real trading circles you are rightly shunned for converting and sharing in mp3 because it fucks up the source stream and eventually u get a flac sourced from mp3 instead of flac ... what these elites and boot labels have done is a real shitshow for sonic integrity |

The point about the newly circulating Beautiful Night is that it's in soundboard quality: night and day to what was out there before. That's why this new leak is a big deal.

It really does sound amazing! That said, I have a copy of the boot mentioned above but haven't listened to it so I can't say how the compare. All I know at this point is that the new leak is a treasure.
I guess I need to pull out the files of the previous bootleg and see how it sounds.... if I ever get the time.

There's no need. BigChick remembers it wrong, and what love2thenines2003 said is wrong. 'Beautiful Night' is NOT part of this release. What we have had before, has been a great audience recording. This new leak, is soundboard. EG |
