I just find it a bit odd if the material was really being shopped around, that it hasnt ended up with eye records or another boot lable before now, and that not one single thing from the list has materialized yet really

1. Unknown bootleg source - Track labelled as 'Swing Hard'. Female singer, possibly 1992?

2. Unknown bootleg source - 'Thank U Just the Same' (to music of My Medallion). Source?

3. Unknown Bootleg source - The Bird (You Turn Me Up) - What year? (82 or 83?)

4. This Lonely Life - Sinead O'Connor - Any Prince involvement?

5. Trouble - Rosie Gaines? Any Prince involvement?

Are you referring to the Georce Clinton outtake (was released as in quite a different version on "Smell My Finger") that goes "I'm gonna go way up and out, and touch everybody"? Or is this something else entirely? The year would be correct. And could be mistaken for the Steeles..

Horns on it are both from the Clinton camp as well as Eric Leeds/Matt Blistan.

...i had some doubts before but after a close listening with a better material to listen to...yes definitely an improvement...maybe some songs have been hacked with mastering applications...but 4 example for "GO" it seems this is a NEW SOURCE !

Go and Yo Mister both sound much better, especially GO. I've waited a long time to hear that great song in this kind of quality.

I believe it is the same source, or at least not different enough. I EQ'd the original leak to match the over-trebel'd nature of the new one and it is exactly the same to me. It may sound like more deatil at first like more high end tends to do, but if I crank up the first version, it is better balanced and less harsh on the ears

The new leak of 17 Days also runs a little bit slower than the official released version and the first leak of the extended edition
