it appears the rehearsal is out too of which you/we probably already have, but i think it may be better quality

I am confused. The sounboard of the 1st Avenue 83 show is on the Eye boot "Rainmaker", and the rehearsals for that show are on the Free Boot Generation boot "3-8-83 Rehearsals".

Is this something new ?? Or just rehash / better versions of what we have already ??

This is the '83 show, not the '84 one. But yeah, another soundboard for it was released on Rainmaker but this source is much cleaner than the one that appears on RM. Only Electric Intercourse is out though.

Same anwser for L2The9's. This source is much cleaner than what was available on Eye Records. And the rehearsal for "EI" is longer and of better quality than it appears on the FBG release.

Is this the same version that was on youtube for ages? Where he's sitting behind a piano in his purple attire looking all punk with mayhem in his eyes? That link also stated 1983 if I'm not mistaken.

This is the same live performance, yes. But not the same source we previously had. This one is completely new and clear.

The FLAC I downloaded runs a bit fast, it is in the key of C but this one sounds like Db, I had to slow it down in a audio editor

There are two new leaks of "Electric Intercourse." One is from the August 3, 1983 First Avenue benefit show. The other one is from the 1983 rehearsal that was previously available on the FBG release "The Bird Rehearsal."

Soundboard implies cd quality but does not imply any quality as the audio recorded at 44.1 KHz/16 bits stereo can be clipping, noisy, brickwalling, etc, etc, etc.

Of all the leaks from the last few days, Electric Intercourse from First Ave 83 is by far the best. I would love to hear the whole show in this quality!
