1) Try to be careful as you can be about the pills you ingest. 2) Find good physicians to help you with your ailments.

From the police interviews what I take from it prince was surrounded by people who bothed the investigation by not being totally honest from a so called respect or his privacy .there is no way nobody knows where those pills came from lies lies lies

Don't assume that if someone is a famous, rich celebrity that they live a luxurious life. Prince was worth millions but my bedroom is nicer.

. We should try to be as open and honest with the people who are closest to us. We should not be afraid to ask for help when we are struggling - it isn't a sign of weakness. We should have people within our support networks who are unafraid to challenge us. When challenged by people who care for us we need to be respectful of their intentions and humble enough to listen. As friends to others we need to be willing to do the same, no matter if that can sometimes be hard. .

That after he overdosed the first time on the plane, neither he nor his entourage had the brains to flush those pills down the toilet!! ...every night another symphony...

I knew this, but it was reindorced. Don't be an enabler. If you see someone you love or care for, or even just know well, doing something that is harmful, say something, take action. Don't assume that somewone else will do the hard work. Prince's death was weighing heavily on my mind, when an opportunity to intervene arose. I decided to make the difficult decision, rather than wait and see and hope. I think this learning will be with me for the rest of my life.

We think we know the celebrities we're fans of, especially musicians, because their music speaks to us in such intimate and emotional ways. But we don't. What we know is nearly entirely restricted to the persona they chose to put forward, and that persona may be "true," but it's not the whole truth. - And perhaps knowing the whole truth about ANY other person -- even non-celebrities -- is impossible. You can't climb into someone else's mind or know their whole life. Sometimes I don't even completely know myself!

Yes--especially this, wanting to believe that Prince was super-clean--he preached this-- but reality and behind-the-scenes can be so much grittier. We all have physical crutches, be they simple as a workout & diet regimen, but as people age, physical challenges naturally become greater and orthepedics, surgery, and pain management medications will be required. Over the years I'd hear of some of Prince's injuries and think, "man, that really had to HURT." Plus, there would be the usual musicians' wear and tear on hands and wrists, but on he would go.... > Prince's stage show was very high-impact for so many years and his body absorbed a lot. He continued the desire to keep some element of physical dynamism in his stage act--he was jumping around at the couple of his shows I saw in '15, the last ones ever, for me. In order to do this, he gave more than we knew--this was his choice, his secret, and it took him out in the end.

This is so true, but it sounds quite sad and lonely to admit it.

Stop being and enabler! For staters. Question the motive of your employer. Do not just look at them who signs your pay check. See them as someone who needs professional help.

I’ve learned that things, people, and situations aren’t always as they appear. That a person desperately needs non-YES people in their lives. That if something isn’t right, say something and if it doesn’t feel right, ask questions about it. That tomorrow isn’t promised to none of us. I learned to tell people how I feel about them while they can hear me. After MJ died and then Prince, I wondered if they had ANY idea about just how much they were loved. I remember staring at the sea of purple outside of Paisley Park and thinking, if he could only see this and feel this... I hope he had a front row seat from heaven.
