ok the synths on "The Beautiful Ones" are driving me crazy

I still don't understand how they ended up sounding the way they're sounding on record, that must be the crispiest, most lush synth-piano instrumental I've ever heard at least in terms of sonics, nevermind those chords and how they aline with each drum kick.
