I love 319, SHHHH, I hate U, Billy Jack Bitch, Dolphin, the most beautiful girl in the world, shy and endorphinmachine...and have a guilty pleasure for NOw. Not crazy about the musical qualities of P. Control and think Gold's keyboards are corny.

My favorite is probably SHHHH.

I really like the most beautiful girl in the world. It has a more live feel to it then the original version.

The Most Beautiful Girl In The World. But, PUSSY CONTROL and NOW are a close 2nd.

To me it is the opposite.

I really loved the original single version and when I listened for the first time to the album version I didn't like it.

I think the live feel detract from the sweetness of the song itself (with unnecessary tricks like all the "stop and go").

Anyway, rendition apart, as a song TMBGITW is my preferred of the album together with "Eye Hate U" and "Gold". These are the 3 I return the most (also "Now" but more for fun than for art).

I don´t listen to it very often because in my opinion that album has aged badly and sounds a bit dated. I still love most of the songs though and mostly listen to live or unreleased versions ( Shhh....for example sounded great when he played it live during those 1994-95 shows but the album version sounds tame in comparison, the same goes for Now, Gold and Endorphinmachine).

Then there are songs on it that most people here strongly dislike but that I still enjoy listening to....for example Shy and We March....I have always liked those two songs a lot and still do.

.

I Hate U is my favorite song on the album, even though I much prefer the remix with the boomin´ bass and the funny adlibs, even though the adlibs make the song feel a bit dated.

And of course Dolphin. Great song, great video, and ambigious lyrics.

It´s a good album but the production sounded a bit sterile compared to the raw energy of the live or unreleased versions.

I have always skipped TMBGITW and still do, I´ve probably only listened to the album version once or twice and can´t even tell the difference between the album and the single version. Never was my thing. wink

Shhh is my favourite, followed by P Control and Now (which incidentally were my least favourite when the album came out).

I edited out the interludes from my download and just turn down the keyboard opening to Gold when I listen to it..LOL. It doesn't feel dated much at all to me once I do/did those things.

P. Control. Willing and Able would be #1 if it used the same vocals as he did in the 'official' video. Man, I get chills when I listen to that version!

You’re right about the vocals in the video. Wrong album though...

Tied.

-Endorphinemachine

-Shhh

-319 (pervy prince is fun. Although I could go without the polariod sound effects) razz

-Dolphin (I didn't like the song at first because I think dolphins are corny; but now, I think that was sort of the point. If was a cute, beloved animal, would you listen to me then?? )

If I'm in a laidback mood:

1. Gold

2. I Hate U

3. Dolphin

.

If I'm in an upbeat mood:

1. Endorphinmachine

2. Pussy Control

3. Billy Jack Bitch

.

I really love this album!
