casi1 said: I’ve learned that things, people, and situations aren’t always as they appear. That a person desperately needs non-YES people in their lives. That if something isn’t right, say something and if it doesn’t feel right, ask questions about it. That tomorrow isn’t promised to none of us. I learned to tell people how I feel about them while they can hear me. After MJ died and then Prince, I wondered if they had ANY idea about just how much they were loved. I remember staring at the sea of purple outside of Paisley Park and thinking, if he could only see this and feel this... I hope he had a front row seat from heaven. Beautiful

PNV ain't going to say it but that wasn't a fair post attack. If this situation was vice versa you wouldn't like. This way humans can't grow because every time someone try to change for the better and try to speak from the heart instead of offering the same kindness and understanding you would want, we attack each other. Especially if it's challenging our views and opinions but we entertain nonsense. Point blank that wasn't cool, pnv didn't attack anyone or post something cruel. And FYI I have nothing against you databank, and I wouldn't won't you treated unfairly neither. If us humans was fair and took responsibility and accountability and stop looking for something to be mad at and miserable about we can all share thoughts and opinions and live until our dying day comes.
PNV: Unfortunately what you're asking for is pretty rough to do when the sick person doesn't love themselves enough to want to stop the abusement and it's even harder when suicide becomes the answer because the person see it no other way. All we can do is extend unconditionally love without draining ourselves down to the point we start becoming broken and now the broken person you was trying to fix has broken you too. That's why relationships fall apart because we are not meant to fix one another but just love do what we can within our means without harming ourselves because no man or woman can change a person unless that person want betterment and change for themselves. That's one old folk tail that's true. Sad thing is the earthly religious community help break more people than anything. Because they teach their own theologies, the leaders treat themselves as Gods, while the people suffer. Prince was a great person but I feel his downfall began with his religious roots from his childhood and for years he tried looking for the truth and I'm speaking from experience. It's very hard for everyone in life but I know as a religious church child I wanted to enjoy life and save people until reality hit. Now on that note I'm going to listen to this Parade tour live in Stockholm footage and SOTT live in Paris and workout.

Now to your comment: We actually are agreeing because the biggest problem around addiction is people think that's abuse. Addiction and Abuse are two seperate things within the medicine aka drugs world. Addiction: is a uncontrollable craving by the brain that sends signals through your body asking for more of the drug or whatever you used to shut that part of the brain off for that moment. So if you use lets say 7.5-325 MG of Norco, you take 2 pills of that within a day, your body becomes addicted. Does this make you a abuser, no. Abuser: A person that use substances or lifestyles to deadly extremes to handicap ones or others state of mind purposely. Meaning I'm taking drugs or doing actions because I want escapism from my reality whether it's good or bad for me or others around me. Over time addiction and abuse have been moved together by media and bad info sites to lead people to think they are the same when they are not. You can control abusing yourself or others, JUST STOP. Whereas you can't control withdrawal symptoms from taking certain medications like Humira, Opioids, Diabetes Insulin, and Liquor to name a few. FYI ( IF you don't know about liquor being a type of medication read about the 1800s - 1960s how liquor aka alcohol was the first type of pain reliever for surgeries and sickness). Addiction deals with the brain and abuse deals with escapism from the brain which is way abused people have to be brought out of their little fantasy world and back into reality. Addiction people have to deal with withdrawals which is way Prince was trying to get help. [Edited 5/2/18 11:23am]

And, loose your job when you work in a Prince camp ? The guy was quite relentless for that matter. - I understand you, and I think you're (partly) right. But in real life, it isn't all that easy. Let alone getting sued for something that might be the truth. And second, you need to be able to see and be sure, without creating drama or wake the sleeping dogs like the press. ALWAYS listen to your body. Don't be afraid to tell a doctor or someone close to U EVERYTHING that your doing to your body or EXACTLY what is going on with your body. It'll save your life in the end. At a certain point in his carreer, I read that Prince was in need of a hip surgery. Could it be that he refused that because of Jehove Witness rules of not being alowed of blood transfusions ? I could be wrong though. I don't know their game rules of life. (And I don't want to look it up. I definately avoid (and dislike) all forms of religions.) - Plus, most macho men... and Prince sure was one - combined with his Napoleon complex - prefer to suffer and rather die than having an operation (where they have to give in and loose all control). Possibly something like all thát combined, and with a huge fleeing ahead. nd not to forget the fact that the guy was so terribly possessed by, and ocupied through making music, that he simply didn't find the right moment or create time to have it done. Painkillers often simply create the possibility to postpone everything. Thats how people might get addicted. 'Angst' is one hell of a drive in life. To most of us. Mostly for the bad. Unfortunately.

I think around 2010. There is a scar on his hip and one on his knee from surgery according to the Autopsy report and KJ mentioned he had hip surgery, don't know if it was a full replacement or partial.
