Anyone have a link to that Prince interview that got pulled?

There was a Prince interview that got pulled a few years back and I’m wondering anyone has a link or a copy of the text?

That's vague as hell.

BUT if you're talking about the print interview, it's been posted on here. Search for "lost interview" or "previous interview". I think it was Rolling Stone. Dig for it, you will find it. There is a Google Search box in the upper right. it works wonderfully.

.

As for him being "on the spectrum", Susannah Melvoin stated that she believed he was in her interview with Toure. Remember, he could be comfortable performing in front of 90,000 but could not speak well to strangers...except in the last years. That's when superfan Corey Tolefson said he noticed that P "just didn't give a shit". In some ways, those pain pills may be enabled him to do things he never felt comfortable doing before.

Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

I´ve never heard of Corey Tolefson before. Is he mentioned in the Susannah interview?

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

The best bit is where he starts waxing lyrical about Tut at the end of the interview. I remember downloading it at the time out of curiousity and going "good God Prince, this crap is what you're watching in your spare time?? lol lol "

It feels like you were making an excuse for his drug addiction. (maybe not your intention?)

Narcotics and opioids don't enable a user to do anything but keep using. Whether it inadvertently drops inhibitions or whatever is irrelevant. Even if Prince was more open to talkative to people, the other person is still dealing with a person who is high or altered. You never deal with the addict when you interact with them, you are talking to the addiction - you are talking to the drugs. They are not who they would be by experience and environment. The drugs are an inhibitor to the real person. The addict hides, sneaks around and lies to hide what they're doing. That is not the Prince we knew. It's hard to tell where real Prince stopped and drugged Prince started. And I hate that.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

This RS interview from 2014?

https://www.rollingstone....y-20160502
As we walk along, he shows no sign of reported double-hip-replacement- surgery – no limp, no cane, no apparent discomfort. His brown eyes are alert, and his wit is quick – looking back, it's nearly impossible to square his affect with posthumous rumors of an opioid addiction.
