A bit messy and too preoccupied to organize stuff is so typical of a creative person who is busy!

There are photos where it looks a lot tidier, before the Police started pulling things apart (e,g, taking books off shelves etc)....

We're not talking about what people did when they came in to take pictures. I think the deeper one gets into the bowels of the estate, it's pretty tragic. The Egg is dilapidated, the garage is a black hole, and the fixings are old, its doors battered etc. I have to admit, his green room bathroom--the one he presumably used regularly, was pretty low rent and dirty. It was what it was..an old place where anything outside of the studio space was obsolete. He should have sold it years ago, bought a big place and set-up state-of-the-art studios on its grounds.

Agreed. it could certainly do with a renovation. It was very 90s. That said he did not live there for a long time (LA, Spain, Canada, other houses in Minne).
