I hate this topic but in the newly released investigative photos is a very disturbibg photo. It has stuck with me all day-
At the scene they found a zipped up bag labeld Opium written in sharpie and on a desk or counter was a splattered pile of white powder and a bent spoon. There is no way to interpet these photo in any other way... maybe it was an employees but that is so improbable that I dont render it plausible. And at the end of one of his latter day songs, he says... ‘put down the sooom, put down the spoon’. I believe its from ‘The Breakdown” but im not sure. I know, this topic is sensitive/offensive to a lot of fans but it must be part of his story. It is so perplexing, to even contemplate him allowing herion in Paisley unless he sanctioned it. But I dont remember reading or hearing there were tracks on his body. So what Does this photo mean.. ? Ugh.

Put down the needle, put down the spoon is a lyric from 'The Love we Make" it is in reference to Jonathan Melvoin passing away and Jimmy Chamberlin overdosing on Smashing Pumpkins Tour from heroin.
