I haven't heard anyone suggest that Afshin staged the room- I said in an earlier post that tourist attraction formerly known as Paisley Park did. This room existed pretty much like this at the time he died, but some things have been moved and "placed" to make it a little more of a show space.

That being said - and as a few of us have said multiple times in this thread - this was NOT his bedroom... more like a living room in his residential area of the building. Think about it - who has their bedroom as the first room you enter of their home/apartment? That stained glass door is the primary entrance from the "business" part of Paisley Park, as this large room with the ultra tacky bed used to be his office. His actual bedroom was a very plain and very human space, with an attached bathroom.

My guess is that the pictures and video from Vogue are just the first hint of a new "higher level" tour that PP will offer, which will include some of the upstairs space, including this room.

That makes sense. Maybe they have good intentions but i would prefer the truth. Its more profound. That garish bedroom is like a Prince stereotype. No wonder, she was laughing...LOL.

Yes you're right but I think that this is what the poster (Voph I think) was refering to. I could be wrong though. I haven't finished looking through all the pictures. I'm not sure I will.

I looked through the pictures of the walk-through by police in May of 2016 and there were no pictures of Vanity any where that I could find.

I thought that they probably arranged some of it,like the albums lined up on the floor but to find out that they staged the rest of it is disappointing.I thought he at least used the white bedroom on occasion.After he passed,Stella Blu said on Twitter that he asked her to come to Paisley and paint a mural on his bedroom wall.She said that he loved it. I assume it was she who painted the words.She probably also painted the purple floral mural in the hallway and possibly the rainbows as well.

It's not a matter of thinking whether PP staged the photos or not... We KNOW from the facts that it was staged. The most important of those facts is that there are plenty of investigation photos of this room from April and May 2016. The Vanity 6 photo was not there when Prince was alive.

Also, as others have stated, that wasn't his bedroom. Prince's bedroom was the little, plain green room.

It's the MOST beautiful bedroom I EVER seen!!

Check out the thread in full. This room is a former office space. The thread has also noted that there were other bedrooms, including the green one where he actually slept. There was another bed space off from the sitting room attached to the green bedroom. There was at least one other bedroom, too.

If you read through the data released by Carver County not only will you see it established by those around him that he slept in the green bed room every day BUT you can see photos of all the rooms taken on 4/21. The white room was sparsely decorated with no personal belongings and even less furniture than it has now. For example, the two little end tables in the staged photo that hold the vanity 6 picture NOW, were just stored in a closet on 4/21.
