I figure this might be a good time for a needed smile. Perhaps others have noticed this, but I finally heard that great Paisley Park 3rd Eye Girl Concert, and the last song listed on the downloaded boot is Thank You Fallettinme Be Mice Self Again . I don't know if this is how Prince sometimes spelled it for a hoot, or the bootlegger, or the use of some type of vocal text/Siri mistake? In any case, I was listening to the song while on exercise equipment and I happen to notice the title scroll and almost fell off the tread mill. I survived with a smile on my face.

This is the way it is spelled on Sly and the Family Stone greatest hits album Thank You(Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin).Prince didn't come up with the way it's spelled,Sly did.

It's the official spelling (well, with Mice Elf, as in the thread title, not Mice Self)--but it's Sly Stone's song, not Prince's, so I guess it's Sly is to thank for your smile.

EDIT!!! I got beat to the comment. Ah well. Great song, anyway.
