How many songs did Prince say were in his vault? curious. I have seen that people speculate thousands others say hundreds. I'd like 2 know if he said how many himself.

The only time that he´s mentioned an actual number of songs that I recall was when he gave the Electrifying Mojo an interview in 1986.

yeah he said 320

i saw one interview when he was asked how many he had and he said thousands.then he said he never really counted how many songs he had

he stated sometime in the late 80's i think he "only" had 350 tunes, after that he's seemed to have lost count and just told people "if you were to listen to everything you'd look different by the time you finished" meaning that they'd be older. word has been over 1000 for a long time, i'd assume somewhere between 1 and 2000 songs.
