Rick DID WORK with Prince when he stole his synthesizers and used his programming presets to record his MOST successful album "Street Songs" . Which worked because that album made Rick a superstar. Rick James made great music. As a person I have no idea how much of a prick he is. Due where due's done. The guy made some terrific funk tunes. (Superfreak's baseline is just awesome, go figure) - But interesting to know he 'stole' synths, and used them for his famous album 'Street Songs'. (I always loved that title, and, the cover art of that album, is great by the way, as is the album.

He was jealous of Prince is all. Not really that surprising. Bet a lot of talented people were. "if you can't clap on the one, then don't clap at all"

When Rick was on a crack binge with Sly Stone he told Sly the crack screwed up his creativity in the studio.
