What did Prince have planned post April 21st, 2016?

I know he was working on music with MonoNeon and something called Black Is
The New Black (maybe the same thing?) but did he have any future date P&M shows planned?? I heard he was 50 pages into a biography?

Anything else on the horizon?

A stint in rehab, apparently.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Didn't one of his sax players (Marcus or the other long haired guy) say that he wanted them to travel to one (or all) of his Piano and Mic shows so the full band could do aftershows together?

I think generally, this is the part that we long timers are most upset by...he had so much more to do. We know how active he was right to the end.

His new live album was the next priority.

I'm sure he posted saying it was being mixed or was finsihed.

Either way, it was the next release.

I wish the estate would actually remember this and follow through on Prince's wishes.

Touring with the 3rd eye girls. Maybe finding that one woman he was suppose to had married years ago. I know in a 2014 interview. Prince had said: he was not going to marry again. Just maybe the first marriage was the wrong 1973 woman that Prince should had married?

He had Piano & Mic shows planned for St. Louis and D.C. the following week or so, which makes me so sad because I would have attended the DC show. He was going to finish Black is the New Black. He was going to have a Piano & Mic residency at Paisley in the summer. After that, he was going to have some shows with Mono Neon, Kirk, Donna, etc. with his new jazzy band. He was going to write his book.

With all of that said, he knew his time was coming soon. I just don't think he thought it was going to be that soon. Sometimes it snows . . .

This should have been the #1 priority of his plans, he was a very sick man.

That's the one I was waiting for. My kid had never seen him live and this was gonna be it.

After the initial heartbreak/gut-punch that was hearing of his passing, "Dear God... he's never going to get to experience him live" was my first thought.

I think St. Louis might have been on the list too.

According to Montreux Jazz management there were plans to have an appearance there back in 2016.

I expect he would have continued on a US leg of Piano & Mic, followed by a European tour

He was writing that memoir thing

3rdEyeGirl album #2 was in the works

He was jamming with Kirky J, Marcus Anderson and Mono Neon

"Free Urself" and "If Eye Could Get Ur Attention" I always suspected would turn up on Hit N Run Phase #3

Piano & Mic live album? A couple of soundboard tracks had been released on Tidal

He was showing off his new purple and gold guitar

Lots of things were in the works, it seems sad sad

I just toured Paisley Park Thursday...our guide said that there was a deal in place with blue note records for the release of 'black is the new black'. I don't know that I'd heard or known that at all before she said it.

So, there probably would have been some promotion around that...

The Purple One's first original book is scheduled for release autumn 2017

Prince has announced that he is writing a memoir. The currently untitled book is scheduled for release in fall 2017 via Spiegel & Grau (a Random Houseimprint). It will be Prince's first original book. It's described as "an unconventional and poetic journey through his life and creative work – from the family that shaped him and the people, places, and ideas that fired his creative imagination, to the stories behind the music that changed the world," in a press release.

Also in the press release, Spiegel & Grau Executive Editor Chris Jackson said:

Prince is a towering figure in global culture and his music has been the soundtrack for untold numbers of people—including me—for more than a generation; his creative genius has provided the musical landscape of our lives. Millions of words have been written about Prince—books and articles, essays and criticism—but we're thrilled to be publishing Prince's powerful reflections on his own life in his own incandescently vivid, witty, and poetic voice.

Prince will certainly have stories to tell in his memoir. We sure hope his story about the time he replaced a ?uestlove DJ set with a DVD showing of Finding Nemo is in there.

"That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when eye was doing the Purple Rain tour eye had a lot of people who eye knew eye'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."prince

I agree. He had so much for which to live. His future plans, religious beliefs, along with the consistent conclusion that his death was an accidental overdose from the ME and police are why I do not believe his death was a suicide.

He had 50 pages completed of his Memoirs. He had plans to do many things. According to Van Jones, Prince wanted to write children's books. He was multi-talented. He had so much to give the world and sadly, a lot of people don't realize everything that he accomplished in his short life.

Prince's newly christened friend Jester said Prince had a LOT of things planned for 2016. All through the summer and beyond. Paisley Park was going to be a very busy place. Including performances and special guest(the Queen Bee). He WAS NOT planning on going anywhere soon.
