Prince "Back At The Club" album in HMV (U.K. Record store)?!?!?!? Hi all I came across this album in a legit UK record store (HMV), which is titled: Prince "Back At The Club - More from the Miami Glam Slam 1994" I already had a bootleg of these concerts and a lot of the songs had interference noise on them, which I had assumed was from an intercepted satellite link between the Glam Slam clubs (I also have video of the same concerts) I was hoping this "official" release (the copyright is HOBO 2018) would be better sound quality - but it is EXACTLY the same as the bootleg version I have 2 questions: 1 - how is this an official release being sold in a reputable U.K. Record store? 2 - One of my favourite songs is Prince's version of "Shoop!" - does anyone know of any other recordings of this - ideally in good quality with no interference sounds

It's on iTunes as well titled 3 Nights Live in Miami 1994: Remastered. Doesn't sound any better though
I love the version of Shoop he does incorporating bits of Sexy MF, Gett Off and Acknowledge Me but as you say it's a shame about the interference. I don't think there's any other better circulating versions [Edited 3/16/18 11:45am]

question 1: it's simple: none of HMV's buyers are interested. It's a "new" Prince album so we'll order it for the store - is it official? What a question, as long as no lawyer rings, we sell it. Weekly thousands of albums are published and often automatically sent to the shops because nobody cares anymore about a bootleg of a deceased artist. that's not a chart topic so it hardly anyone notices
