I think this would be a #1 seller. I asked Sharon about this idea. I would like to see handwritten lyrics book with scripts for movies and concepts for clothing, stage designs etc. I think she said something to the effect they would be using in some videos, art for projects but would not release journals with personal stuff. What are you outraged about today? CNN has not told you yet?

Absolutely! That would be a great coffee table book!! "With love, honor, and respect for every living thing in the universe, separation ceases, and we all become one being, singing one song." - Prince Roger Nelson (1958-2016)

Yeah, but they're not curated. With that thought and effort you mention, a book of his handwritten notes, lyrics, musings, could be amazing. I think it would depend on the mind of the receiver, what type of learner you are. Visual, auditory, etc. With Prince, there are a lot of paths for your mind to relate to his. I want one more. And the MUSIC continues...forever...

I think a thoughtful, curated version of his notes and journals would be great to release. I think they should all be kept though(including the personal stuff) and maybe released for academic study under closed circumstances in the distant future [Edited 3/14/18 19:12pm]

. As it looks right now music will be coming out only slowly; you will never hear a significant part of the vault. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

I bet that was a treat! I would've love to have seen it. Thanks for sharing. And yes, if I were to come into big cashy cash, I would definitely buy handwritten documents- especially lyrics and other papers showing his thought process. Plus, he had gorgeous handwriting. It would be a treasure for sure.

Yes!!! Seeing Prince’s handwritten notes and sketches was one of the highlights of the O2 exhibition for me. A fascinating glimpse into his creative mind.

lets just face it far as the vault is concerned half of us will be dead before a large percent of that stuff is released and his siblings will probably be dead as well. from what morris hayes has said there are albums already mastered and ready to go in the vault these hoes should be working on releasing the goods

Yes. If it could be published in a 'good way', and not as some purple-kitschy waste with bad pictures.

Yes I would! I want to read the autobiography he started, I don't care how little of it he actually finnished. Anything that is in his own words is of interest to me.
