This never before seen photo from the Walker Archives was in response to a 1986 letter

from then Walker Art Center Director Martin Friedman to #Prince asking for support for the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden.

Lemmie, meine leibchen! This is all I remember from 18 months of German. I'm guessing the term chen is a term of endearment but not a "childish" term. I know some languages will use the childish term to an adult as an insult. You are a jewel!!!

Great photos LC...Is that Owen Husneys child with Prince at the piano and playing ball,,,i wonder if that was when they all lived in California together...and that does NOT look like Prince's handwrting on that photo
