Neon Telephone-Appreciation Thread I can't get enough of "Neon Telephone" lately. It's a really catchy song and the song changes dramatically towards the end.I wish it kept going and it didnt fade out.I am reffering the 1985 version that surfaced a few years ago. Anyone list this song highly in their favorites list?

I do, it's great song, very melodic and upbeat yet it is about loneliness "Come on baby pick up the phone, tell your baby Prince that he ain't alone, I just need some of yo sweet sweet loving" . Gee its dark in here, Neon Telephone - I think he wrote it for Three O'clock some act he had on Paisley Park records, that was 87, but you this version is a Parade era out take. Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

I love how seeing the Neon telephone in Under the Cherry Moon, just opens up a backstory via this song.
and the ending (There must be a long version)
