Prince & The Revo is mentioned on TV show, Real Housewives (funny) . If any of you watch the Real Housewives series (Beverly Hills); last night's episode (2.27.18), the girls were attending New York Fashion Week and one of the runway models was wearing a fancy pant suit with a ruffled blouse, and I can't remember which girl said this, but she said: "Prince and the Revolution". . I thought it was cute and funny and just goes to show you what an impact Prince had in the fashion world. .

There was another Prince mention recently. If anyone watches Counterpart on Starz, Prince was woven into that show's reality. . The premise of the show is that there is some kind of counter intelligence agency that monitors an alternate reality. Most people are not aware of the alternate reality, but of course there is a gateway that allows people to move between the two. And that's how the show's star, JK Simmons meets his similar-but-different counterpart. . It's in this gateway that they have agents monitoring those going back and forth because certain things aren't allowed to pass between. When one of the people moving thru is searched, a CD is discovered and this dialog follows: "That's Prince's new album... some of his best work in years. You do realize that he's no longer alive on this side, right?" . That got me thinking.... if there was an alternate reality where Prince was still Prince, similar but different... that would mean there would be at least 39 albums, associated artist projects, and a vault full of treasure... all similar but different to what we know.

On the X Files episode this week, Fox Mulder is in his car, and he's using his voice command feature to tell the stereo to play Controversy.

However the voice command was all messed up and we never get to hear Controversy being played [Edited 3/2/18 11:38am]

People are finally catching up. I’ve never seen a posthumous legacy (ooh, it hurts to say that) develop quite like this one. All of our talk here and out in our lives has had an impact.

. Yes...A lot of people just realizing how immensely talented he was, and how his own personal style influenced others. It certainly has me. I wish I still had those paisley print jeans I wore back in the 80s!
