okay, I've been watching some of Prince's concerts and in all of those that I've sen he always says "thank you, good night". Which is fine, but why does he say this when he comes back andd does another song? He even says this during a song, but he contiues. So why does he dio this? Anyone know?

I've come to the conclusion that he does it just to piss you off

Actually this has been bugging me as well!! I remember at the Copenhagen concert, he said this A LOT OF THE TIMES! I think its cool enough!! And I understand why he says "Thank you" its like "thanks for listening to us/me".. but why he says "good night" and then he comes back and sing more songs

This is common with a lot of performers before an encore.

He wants to make it seem like we demanded an encore.

I am sure this pisses a lot of people off.
He did this at the ONA concert in Vegas
about an hour before he was done and a lot
of peple left thinking it was over. I was
thankful cause I snuck up to the front and
took someones seat that left! He can keep
it up as far as I am concerned!

To me he just does it to keep you guys guessing. Prince has his on way of doing unexpected things. That is what I like about him the most.
