I only really love the first two tracks, but there are so many soundboard boots out there that are fantastic... what about "The Beautiful Experience" with the first hearing of Days of Wild? that concert kicks ass.

true.if it's the same one i'm thinking of it ends with 'Peak the Technique' and 'none of your business'.I think it drops away towards the end, but the first half is great.

A bit too much jamming, but amazing sound to this day.

Just My Imagination and People Without are just stone cold masterpieces.

The guitar playing is off the chain. I do wish P talked more on the disk.
All you others say Hell Yea!! woot!

Can someone put the track list up, cause I think I've got it, but under a different name. Mine is just called Prince Live in Europe 1988 and sounds like it comes from an aftershow or something...

Though I would rate TBODP on ONA Live as highly as anything on Small Club. Or JIR

Finess

ONA Live is Choc full of Complete shit..its slapped together badly... the aftershow is a waste of fucking time...it got played Once, and put away in deadfile.

Now Small Club or Paard Von Troje as its supposed to be called, is a classic cd with amazing sound and is still a gas to listen to, just my 2 cents

It's one of the best live performances by any artist.

Worth it purely for the Just My Imagination guitar solo. Simply amazing bow worship

ahhh, in that case I do have it - it's just a short 'hit me in the back' turnaround rather than a whole song.

I believe the reason why people rate it so high is that it simply sounds so damn good. It sounds like ONA live SHOULD sound like... You can DJ it in a club and work the dancefloor... its a great album. But there were even better gigs on that tour... I just wish that Hamburg Große Freiheit was recorded in that quality... that gig was by far better than Het Part van Troje...
But its a classic masterpiece. "Forever in my life" packs every dancefloor.

...I'm gonna get flamed...

I don't like it that much. The sound it so good you can hardly hear the audience. I hate that. A live recording gets most of it's power from the response of the audience, and that's what I am really missing here.

Well, got the 'original' bootleg as a trade for two tapes with the Rotterdam '98 concert, so it was a good deal.

Rave is one of the best tracks I've ever heard him record live. Nothing on ONA comes close. And you can take that to the bank.

P's voice was in poor shape that night.

And you can take that to the bank, too.
