Interesting read. While I didn't always agree with his song preferences , I do think he captures the weird mix of awe and disappointment that the record elicits for me. It made me want to play my Crystal Ball playlist on the way to work tomorrow, and I thank him for that inspiration

Strange it says 'previously bootlegged material' when a lot of it wasn't, or was altered/edited. So he didn't actually do anything to stop bootlegging - i suppose he couldn't help tinkering and tempting us with a look inside the vault! I would actually like an official 'bootleg' series that actually releases all the studio material that's been leaked so far (as is, but with clear sound and unabridged), before moving on to the unknown stuff, otherwise we'll get mixed tracklists which half of it we'll know and it will be a bit of a let down.The other options are 2. just release the stuff year by year (chronological order) 3. specially curated tracklists a bit like the CB. 4. as bonus disks with remastered albums or 5. another way i haven't thought of or 6. all of the above!!! yikes!
