What do you think would blow us away? Here's mine:

1. Sign with someone who would allow him complete ownership, but promote the hell out of his new stuff.

2. Remaster and rerelease his classic albums/videos/tours on CD and DVD

3. Everything comes full circle-return to the MPLS sound if for just one album. Think 1983 meets 2003.

4. Keep the NPGMC going so that his die hards who've stuck with him will get major privs when he is back in the spotlight

5. Have just one more "pop" song that hits the top 10 for the hell of it.That alone would spark a huge renewed interest in Prince.

Release the unreleased music in a type of "Crystal Ball II". It would be great to include most commonly mentioned "boots"...nothing that has been released before on any other album. That would be nice

It can't be the exact MPLS sound. To the mainstream audience it's now considered dated. Prince would have to come up with something new that is just as devastating...



Maybe he should let this horse die until he learns how to run a business better...The NPGMC has been more of an embarrasment than anything else. Sorry, guys.



This will only be possible if Prince recruits new collaboraters who can input better ideas than the all too many yes-men he has surrounded himself with for far too long..

I don't expect Prince to do any of this stuff. But I would love to see him do what he has to do to get Sign O' The Times and Under the Cherry Moon released on DVD.

I checked the RIAA certifications and the VHS of SOTT went gold. That alone oughta tell you it would sell. As for UTCM, when I look at some of the clunkers that have made it to DVD, I find it hard to believe that UTCM is not out yet. I know Warners doesn't want to help Prince out, but darn, it might help their sales!

Well for the fans like myself(normal, rational, ect.), only one thing:

*Remaster all of his back stuff

...but if he doesn't, I'll live.

Now for all the *other* JW hatin'-bitter becuz P ain't had a hit in ages-Larry Graham hatin'-Mani hatin'-Wantin' Wendy & Lisa back in his band-fams/fans:

3.Reunite with The Revolution

4.Start cussin' and dressing 'sexy' again

5. Make an album & tour that's indentical to 'Purple Rain' and promote the hell out of it

It's clear that over the years it's hard for him to please his "most loyal fans." They seem to be the ones who doesn't accept him for who he is - quirks and all.

Put all the good stuff from the vault up on the internet, and charge a bulk rate to download a certain number of tracks out of it per month.

Based on what I know, the only change I'd recommend in this regard is that Prince gets himself another bible study teacher who is'nt as caught up in his celebrity the way Larry Graham is. Sorry, but I think a lot of things between them done in the name of "truth" were done for the wrong reasons--mainly to garner praise and attention to themselves under the guise of preaching... Again, sorry.

I don't care if he curses again or not, Nor do I care if he reunites with the Revolution or dumps Larry G. Maybe Larry G is that father figure in Ps life that he has been looking for. I'm not saying that his father wasn't there, but we don't know what his real life growing up situation really was. None of us were there. You can talke to all of the people from his past about Ps growing up, but until he speaks about it (in an interview or book), we will never know what the deal is with him.

I don't know about any of you guys, but I believe in God and Jesus. With our world in the state it's in today, we need all of the uplifting songs we can get.

I just don't want him to give up on the funk or the ballads.

right now.
He DOESN'T have to worry about money... He DOESN'T have to worry about fame... He DOESN'T have to worry about clout.

All he has to worry about is challenging HIMSELF. And that shouldn't be too hard to instigate for HIMSELF.

I dont think there is anything Prince could do 2 satisfy me. I him 4 who he is and what he's done. But I guess if there's 1 thing it would be 4 him 2 play a huge gig in my back garden with all the Orger's in attendance.

Preach about God and Jesus in a general sense, not the JW stuff.
Have Friday nite parties again ,and when Larry tells him something is right or wrong, use your own mind.

Put out a CD with 5-7 remixes of "Face Down" on it.

Personally I don't care whether he owns his masters or not - that's his beef not mine.

What makes me happy is quality music - that's it
