They opened the side entrances and let some fresh air in and interrupted the concert for a moment.

After that they continued to play....I think the song was Days of Wild.

This was at the Live Music Hall in Ehrenfeld/Cologne.

And then there´s the same incident on the same tour, this time in Lisboa, Portugal, where he talks to someone in the audience and tells him or her to stop smoking, and says something like "Your hands can be the worst killer. When you reach for that sixth donut, who gives it to you? Your hand. "

Etc. etc.

Good for him. That shit stinks and second hand smoke stings your eyes and was probably bad on his throat and vocal cords.

Ha! Afshin was asked about this photo on a podcast. He said she’s putting her hands up as if to say “you caught me”. And prince responded that he was just wanted her to be healthy.

it's so nice that they banned smoking in all restaurants, bars and public spaces in seattle, it's funny to remember, it wasn't even that long ago, 06 or so that you could still smoke in bars. and when i was a kid everyone smoked everywhere and no one thought much about it, just look at movies from earlier times.

I hate smoking, and yes it does give me headaches SOMETIMES, but I actually like the scent. It reminds me of New York City, or some place big and exciting like that, nobody smoked out in the Wonderbread Suburbs I was raised in.

i mean, i am younger, so i never GREW UP with the smell around all the time. Kind of like diesel fuel on an old car..i LOVE that smell, because it's something that wasn't around all the time when i was growing up. (born in 1995)

Funny how cigarettes have all been banned from music venues but a blind eye is turned when the audience tokes up...the "funny" cigarettes.

Exactly, the general public thinks all celebs are druggies which is absurd. Remember some of the nasty stuff about Robin Williams almost the minute he died.
