The article states that Tyka did not know about any hologram or image being used, but she did know they were going to use the song, IWD4U, and she was fine with it.

Your question "needs to be clear about it and say it was or wasn't planned" is what I am responding to. This tweet https://twitter.com/PRNFa...6966188032 clearly states there were never any plans for a hologram to be part of it. Whether or not they had control, they would know what the plan was.

I am completely fine with what I'd heard from Omarr. He and his family were at the game so maybe they knew more than others? I don't know but it's resolved for me. Seems like most others too since no one else is commenting.

Its all semantics with these creepy ass wanna be hanger ons ... prince said jamming with a dead artist is wrong ... yet someone gave jt the vocal track , let jt slow it down to fit his “performance” and let him project prince image thus as tho prince was giving jt a nod ... sheila did nothing .. tyka clealy gave permission ... its not that prince never became shallow ... its just sad to see his music exploited for sone crap like the super bowl or JT or even tykas wallet ... then they try to act all noble for the fan base saying “but it wasn’t a holligram” even tho it basically was ... have fun watching the prince brand mutilated beyond recognition just for a few lousy bucks ... next we’ll have prince songs on the next trump campaign or for some booze commercial or a join the army and murder people add ... maybe a nice “beef it’s what’s for dinner” comercial ... fuckin gold diggers

A lot of people (not you) don't understand......Prince's family had no say in the matter with regard to his vocal track and his image being used. Tyka said she knew about the song IWD4U, but not his image being projected on a silk screen. I'm not upset with Prince's family at all, concerning this matter because I honestly believe they were bamboozled with this whole JT Prince Tribute thing.

Same goes for Sheila......she had no say in the matter. I'm sure she was upset with it and she voiced her opinion -- that's all she can do, really. Like she said, she makes her own decisions with regards to her tributes to Prince.

They know a lot of Prince fans are upset over this, and we're waiting for their next slip-up.
