When did Prince stop playing guitar? I’m sorry if I’ve missed something along the way, but why & when did Prince stop playing guitar? He played piano so beautifully... again, I apologize if this is common knowledge. My love & prayers to all of you/us who love & miss him.💜💜💜 | |

He never stopped. He took a break prior to the Piano & Microphone tour, in order to work on his piano chops. | |

There's footage of him playing guitar at a Ray Charles tribute show at the Chanhasen Dinner Theater in March 2016.He also showed off a new custom made guitar at his last party at Paisley Park and he had ordered a matching bass so he was planning to still play. | |
