Sandy said that in ‘88 P attended one of her concerts in Europe & watched her behind the scenes. Later, he called her management & asked to come see her in her hotel, I think this was in France, they were both there at the same time. P took with him one of his own guitars, a vintage Les Paul to give her lucky ass cause Sade played & he was real impressed. He stayed the night there!! BUT later on that year when their tours were over in like late ‘88 (before I was there in 89! Damn!) Sade came to newly built Paisley & stayed for several days! My girl Sandy says that she saw with her own eyes, P sitting at the piano & Sade was sitting in his lap, & that they was kissing & holding hands!! Lastly, she said that she had a tape that she had to be put into The Vault which had the words; “Sade Demo I Know It Hurts” in P’s own handwriting!! DAMN DAMN DAMN if there is a unreleased nookie-fueled P & Sade duet, cause that needs to be released & played in every damn fertility clinic all over the world!! I know P gave props to Sade, he loved her music but my lawdd this is just the best thing ever!
