A black t-shirt with a large gold love symbal on front, used D & P cd for $4 (had it on itunes but not a physical copy), a symbol sticker, and the PR picture album (vinyl) all from Electric Fetus in MN a couple months ago. Those are my most recent purchases.
And my symbol keychain is still holding up great that i bought the night of the tribute concert in oct 2016. I love it!

$500?!?

I'm so glad I bought all his albums as they were released. Those same 3 titles cost me around $70...

Maybe this person is young, or just discovered Prince’s greatness. No need to judge anyone.

I'm not young, well, maybe, i'm 30. I became a Prince fan during Art Official Age though, i bought all his studio albums available before he died, i even had Crystal Ball, and all the vinyls available at the moment. Only missing ONA ONA Live! and N-e-w-s. Finally got them! lol

Be careful with it. I have seen folks post on social media with a snapped/broken one because it is cheap metal and cheaply made.

I contacted Paisley after mine broke and they sent me a new one on the house smile it was different/better quality too

You see judgement in my statement? Hmmm... That's interesting. Because there is none. wink

I finally just got a hard copy (CD) of Judith Hill's "Back in Time" album that Prince produced and played on.

I also recently tracked down the rare single edit of "The Dopamine Rush," released on the first Eric Leeds album. It cuts out some of the more interesting parts of the song, but at least I've finally heard it (and have it).

Slightly less recently, I got a copy of the promo CD single of "The Good Life" with some rare edits.

And I got the Uncut "Ultimate Music Guide" magazine.

Yeah, they break. Mine lasted maybe 6 to 8 months. The funny thing is, both the horn and the little curly part broke off and now it looks like the original cross/male/female symbol. I have seen people wear the keychain one as a long pendant. That'll help it last longer. And one woman with truly epic ears wore two of them as earrings. Swear to god. [Edited 1/9/18 15:40pm]

I had mine converted to necklaces. They're holding quite well this way.

Welcome home class. We've come a long way. - RIP Prince

That was me!! I was having such a hard time with Paisley Park... I had a keyring that broke (with minimal use). I tried and tried to get ahold of someone at Paisley, and no one would ever get back to me! I was very disappointed. Some wise member of the org suggested I try using a twitter address..so I did...and still nothing. But then I was contact out of the blue a month or two later by a really nice person there. She was apologetic for the issues and she worked with me to get a credit back (since they did not have any in stock at the time). She was great! It restored my faith in Paisley again! I then bought another one when they were back in stock...and..no problems with it so far.

A visit to the My Name Is Prince exhibition at the O2, plus 2 enamel badges that I've pinned to a piece of purple ribbon and stuck on my fridge, they look cute.

I would've liked fridge magnets, I'm a woman of a certain age!

The three official Paisley Park books (Paisley Park, Fashion, and Guitars) which I bought from the exhibition at the O2. Prior to that, the Duane Tudahl and Afshin Shahidi books.

Go to the Paisley Park website and go to the merchandise section. They're available for $15.

My most recent purchase is Emancipation, I'm in the process of replacing all of my downloaded Prince discography with actual CD's. I miss not being able to see the artwork and read the booklets when I listen to Prince.

The only thing is when it comes to albums like Exodus, Chaos & Disorder, and The Rainbow Children do I just buy the cheap cd's from Ebay that are sold as 'brand new' (most likely not legit) or do I try and track down a genuine used one which costs three or four times the price?

I wonder how many people here actually put Prince's music on their list above the patches, neck chains and all the other fluff?

Maybe people are buying the other fluff because they already have the cd's and there are no new albums coming out to buy or concert tickets to save for...

Maybe, but maybe some people are more interested in pretty pictures and other shite rather then the thing that actually made the man famous.

Prince sold a lot of merchandise, too. And I bought a lot of that "crap", because I like it.

Either track down genuine copies, or, just burn your own from your digital collection. There is no reason to pay somebody for copies that aren't "legit" when you can do that yourself.

As with lots of legendary artists, I get that there are lots of people who wear their merch just for fashion... but c'mon! This is a Prince fanpage. Most of the folks taking the time to post here, are probably the real deal and are familiar with his music too lol lol

If you will, so will I
