I dimly remember this show, and this sketch biggrin - typical of the surreal, subversive humour of the time. I didn’t realise that Chris Morris was involved though (narrating).

Big Train re-proposed a much needed surrealism to UK humour.
Mr. Bean is an embarrassement to look at today, and you wonder what the success was all about.
Whereas short sketches like this one stand the test of time:

The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
No Child's a failure
Until the Blue Sailboat sails him away from his dreams
Don't Ever Lose, Don't Ever Lose
Don't Ever Lose Your Dreams

I am pretty sure I read somewhere that someone believed Prince guested in this sketch himself.

Big Train was a genius show.

I found this sketch hilarious at the time.

I doubt people who weren't around at the time and didn't get subjected to his weird image choices then get the clip. Prince really looked like a cheetah, a panther or something like that, at the time. There was definitely something "predatory" about his image and behaviour then.

Hats off to the actor.

He nailed Prince's body language.
I bet most of all were, for a few seconds, like: "is that him?"
