this picture reminds me actually of a picture of my grandfather. He was a methodist pastor but one of the loveliest, funniest and most open minded men I know. And there is literally a picture of him flipping the bird to the devil...He was doing an upside "bird" like what Prince appears to be doing here. My mom told me the story and about how he was giggling while he was doing it. He was a religious man but also rather laid back. My mom in the 70's when she was in high school, said "God Damnit" in front of him once when she was angry. He responded, "Don't say that. Say "Fuck" but don't say that"...LOL.
