What financial transaction? Financial and business matters are redacted but the estate wanted to do something and the older sibs were protesting to the court and the judge approved it.

I think the judge is trying to save the musical legacy and those idiots cannot see it.

I cant find where the Judge approved the business transaction yet. On February 13, 2018 he allowed Comerica to file a Response to SNJ's objections. The Judge hasnt ruled on the issue that I can find.

That is a "Proposed Order" filed by Comerica. So if the Judge approves the transaction he will sign their Proposed Order unless he wants changes made to the Order.

. Seems like the judge is giving authorization to proceed--but he still has the final say.

Does anyone know how much? I have no idea. I don't watch this estate stuff very closely. It's all so tedious and frankly over my head Lol But i do remember reading something in the court documents in June 2016 (a month and a half after he passed) that the legal fees had already reached nearly 1 million dollars!?! That amount was staggering to me. I'm quite sure any current figure would make me physically ill. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

I worked on a case where the estate was worth four million or so - the heirs battled for six years and the attorneys were very very happy to let them fight. The attorneys: fees and costs ate up the four million and then some. The heirs not only got nothing, they owed attorneys fees and costs when it was all over. I see that happening here.

And maybe that would make Prince very happy?

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end

. They are going to have to work, if they want Prince's money! . They all better be careful or they could end up with legal fee's for many years to come!

Large amount of fees going toward Tidal litigation and quite a bit for Boxhill litigation.

Comerica is being paid $125,000 flat rate fee every month plus out-of-pocket expenses which is very reasonable considering the amount of work they are doing on the Estate.

Does that include outside attorney fees? Fredrickson & Byron filed with the court 691 pages of their invoices and other outside firm invoices

No, outside counsel fees it not included. in the flat rate. Also, not included is the Second Special Administrator investigating the JOBU and UMG deals. It doesnt include the retired Judge appointed to mediate with the elders and Lawnie.

So they've brought in a retired Judge to mediate with SNJ?

Yes, but they refuse to meet with him.

There is so much infor to take in on this billing. They are also working on an official Prince website.
They have conferred with heirs counsel regarding the wrongful death matter. They are looking at Ps emails too in regard to PP and Galpin property.

. .....And, one Million in Gold Bars! $$$$ Point being that attorneys profit by not resolving issues, and are not motivated to resolve issues until they are no longer being paid. Which means when the money runs out, which could be years and years at this rate. I feel sorry for the heirs..... [Edited 2/21/18 11:14am]
