What financial transaction?

Financial and business matters are redacted but the estate wanted to do something and the older sibs were protesting to the court and the judge approved it.

I cant find where the Judge approved the business transaction yet.

On February 13, 2018 he allowed Comerica to file a Response to SNJ's objections.

The Judge hasnt ruled on the issue that I can find.

On 2/13/2018 It states Authorized Rep is allowed to approve proposal in attachement A.

That is a "Proposed Order" filed by Comerica.

So if the Judge approves the transaction he will sign their Proposed Order unless he wants changes made to the Order.

Seems like the judge is giving authorization to proceed--but he still has the final say.

I don't think PP, the estate, whatever can make enough money to keep ahead of the legal bills. Not at this rate. Its just sad, sad. sad!!! They be acting like damn fools.

i agree. the attorneys will take all the money themselves if they can keep the fight going for five, ten more years. which they can easily do

Does anyone know how much?

I have no idea. I don't watch this estate stuff very closely. It's all so tedious and frankly over my head Lol
But i do remember reading something in the court documents in June 2016 (a month and a half after he passed) that the legal fees had already reached nearly 1 million dollars!?! That amount was staggering to me. I'm quite sure any current figure would make me physically ill.

I worked on a case where the estate was worth four million or so - the heirs battled for six years and the attorneys were very very happy to let them fight. The attorneys: fees and costs ate up the four million and then some. The heirs not only got nothing, they owed attorneys fees and costs when it was all over. I see that happening here.

They are going to have to work, if they want Prince's money! lol

They all better be careful or they could end up with legal fee's for many years to come!

Prince had 40 million in cash and close to 50 in Real Estate. Forbes said the estate made 16 million last year. I think everything will be fine.

On Feb 15 the attorney invoices for last 3 months were uploaded to court document system. Large amount of fees going toward Tidal litigation and quite a bit for Boxhill litigation.

Comerica is being paid $125,000 flat rate fee every month plus out-of-pocket expenses which is very reasonable considering the amount of work they are doing on the Estate.

Does that include outside attorney fees? Fredrickson & Byron filed with the court 691 pages of their invoices and other outside firm invoices

No, outside counsel fees it not included. in the flat rate.

Also, not included is the Second Special Administrator investigating the JOBU and UMG deals.

It doesnt include the retired Judge appointed to mediate with the elders and Lawnie.

There is so much infor to take in on this billing.

They are also working on an official Prince website.

There was some sort of dispute with the museum operator (PP) and they are using mediation for this issue.

Comerica wants to enter into a settlement agreement with ? (redacted) and NPG Records and NPG Music Publishing. They have filed a Proposed Order

They have conferred with heirs counsel regarding the wrongful death matter.

They are looking at Ps emails too in regard to PP and Galpin property.

Point being that attorneys profit by not resolving issues, and are not motivated to resolve issues until they are no longer being paid. Which means when the money runs out, which could be years and years at this rate. I feel sorry for the heirs.....
