Prince was arguably a one-of-a-kind musician, voice and icon in music, and it would be hard for any artist to live up to the legacy he left behind following his passing last year. Vic Mensa, however, is hoping to get the chance to play the role of the late pop star in a biopic someday, pitching himself for the opportunity in an interview with Montreality.

During the interview, The Autobiography rapper says that if there is a potential Prince biopic, he should play the role of the pop icon, labeling him as one of his biggest idols of all time.

with some make-up and a little weight-loss, he might be able to pull it off...never seen him act though, other than his music videos...

although his twitter pic dressed up as Prince, looks like Andre Cymone and "Darryll" from "Coming To America" had a baby..

I just don't think that I will ever be happy with anyone who plays Prince. I don't think anyone could do him justice.

I would be happy with a theatrical documentary release.

I don't think us real fans want to see anybody else except for Prince nor do I

think it is possible for anybody in this world to play someone so eclectic as Prince

and pass it off as believable.

I agree. He did do a good job. I thought it was Prince for a minute.
