Did any of you ever read/buy a Prince fanzine that was out a few years ago called The Truth? Does anyone know the origin or background of this magazine?
It was a rather bizarre fanzine with heavy religious overtones & even though it claimed it wasn't, it seemed to come directly from the man himself: part of cover price went to Love4OneAnother, choice of topics for the articles (i.e. a JW article), no negative views of Prince, etc.
If it wasn't put out by Prince's people (the magazine is credited to "The Truth Angel" based in the UK), they sure did a good job of aping what a Prince magazine would be like.
Info anyone?
