A snippet from something called the Observer Food Monthly for April 2003 (the Observer is a quality broadsheet Sunday newspaper here in the UK). Every month they phone up 'hot' restaurants and ask if they can accommodate celebrities at very short notice. This month it had a loose royal theme. They 'phoned up on behalf of Prince William, Prince and Queen Latifah.

You'll be pleased (bored?) to hear that Prince was the only one for whom all three restaurants would rearrange things to accommodate a 'big table for eight for 8pm tonight'. Prince William came off second best with poor old Queen Latifah not getting into two of the three restaurants.

Does this demonstrate anything - apart from the fact that I've got too much time on my hands?
