The packaging of Emancipation reminds me of a budget CD-ROM game from the mid-90s. It's not so bad that I "couldn't look at it", but pretty damn bad for something that was supposedly such an important release for him.

I didn't warm up to the shoddy image manipulation inside the booklet either.

I don't think album covers were ever a Prince strong point.

1999 from the 'classic' era stands out to me as a disappointment, along with For You and Prince.

Lovesexy is by far the most absurd Prince cover....and there are some pretty bad ones.

Wow!? 1999 is one of my very favourites! Least favourite? Maybe AOA, or MPLSound.

I just find the colours really muted, the drawings really unappealing, the general layout to be unattractive to the eye. Much prefer some of the single covers and inner artwork.
