"We were at a Jill Scott show and were getting ready to leave," Murphy told ESSENCE. "So we start to walk, and we have our entourage of people and then, all of a sudden, we see Prince and his new wife [Manuela]. All of a sudden this big bodyguard comes out, and he's like, 'Hey, Prince wants to invite you to his house for dinner.' And Eddie was like, 'Cool, yeah.' And he [Eddie] said 'Right now?' And it's already, like, 11:30 at night! So, I looked at Eddie and I said —and normally I'm the one like, 'Let's go in' because I got these kids to tend to, and I like to be hands on with them— I looked at him and I said, 'Shiiiiit. She's a good storyteller. Prince was truly the superstar's superstar. Here she was married to Eddie freaking Murphy and she was losing it over Prince. And, I know she's not exaggerating. I remember the scene on Hollywood Exes when M1 pulled out some of Prince's old clothes. Nicole was almost spazzing out. She smelled his shirt and tried it on. Those women had no shame. I think Will Smith's ex even admitted that P could get it!! LOL.

yes Will's ex said she would marry prince. i think she said she would do the deed with r kelly, marry prince and i can't recall the other option. they were playing some game. but yes nicole was honest about her adoration of prince, it seemed so honestly genuine and not scripted. | |
