I just wanna say how much I sooo love this song. This song is 11 years old and love it just as much as I did as the first time I heard it. I have the acoustic single version also, which is nice. I was music major and listening to the background vocals made my spine tingle. I can't imagine how long it took him to record each part and blend it together. I tried to do it on my tape recorder,but it did sound as good. Ande let's not even talk about how dope the base lines is. I remember being a freshman in high school when the album came out and starting high school was a big deal for me. That whole album was my sanctuary. I didn't care what was hot on the radio or what everybody was wearing. I'd come home and have my love affair with this album. I remember writing the lyrics to as many songs from the album as possible on my folder and shoving it people's faces say "Here, read this!" with a huge smile on my face. Nobody cared. I always thought what he had to say was more important than how he said it. Anyway I get so happy when I hear this song. Anybody else?

Note: This song happens to be about the Book of Revelation, so it's obvious that Prince was into Jesus then and also since the beginning of his career, so why did he feel the need to join the JW's when he was already a believer in Christ with his own faith? (This is not meant to make another JW thread. I was just thinking out loud)

I remember when this song was new. I thought it was a great song too, but have always wondered who the 7were he was refering too.

The song is great! It has such a great vibe to it, I think TRC should of had more of this feel...
